In 2007, iconic toy brand Lego launched a range of more complex Lego models, comprising over 2,000 pieces and using some unorthodox Lego building techniques. These were aimed at older Lego fans – primarily the AFOL (Adult Fans of Lego) community. The range comprised a set of buildings which together would make up a town street. The first set in the series – Lego Café Corner – is now highly collectible. The most valuable examples (with packaging intact and unopened) now sell for over £2,000.
